Flooring options

Floors that finish the room.

Compare finishes, performance and aesthetics for your project: water-resistant vinyl, engineered wood and real hardwood.

Three floors, three personalities

Each option balances look, durability and maintenance differently. Here is how they compare.

Vinyl Floor floor sampleWater-resistant

Vinyl Floor

Durable, high-performance vinyl flooring engineered for commercial and residential spaces. Features a durable wear layer, realistic texture and pattern fidelity, and enhanced color stability for long-lasting beauty. Water-resistant core and easy maintenance with quick-clean surfaces. Suitable for high-traffic areas, classrooms, offices and retail environments.

Engineered Wood floor sampleReal wood, stable core

Engineered Wood

Engineered floor combines a real hardwood veneer with a stable multi-layer core (typically plywood or high-density fiberboard) to deliver enhanced dimensional stability, improved moisture resistance and easy installation. The top veneer provides authentic appearance and texture, while the core and backing layers reduce expansion and contraction under varying humidity and temperature. Engineered wood floors are suitable for above- and below-grade applications when paired with appropriate underlayment and surface finishes, and they offer wide design versatility, faster acclimation and reliable long-term performance.

Hardwood

Hardwood floors are durable, solid real-wood planks that bring natural warmth and distinctive grain to a space. They are refinishable (especially solid wood), come in various species and finishes, and require proper moisture control and maintenance.
